Coral is the skeletal material created by sea-dwelling coral polyps.  In the case of golden coral, this material is a horn-like substance called conchiolin.  Golden and black coral come from the West Indies, Australia, and around the Pacific Islands.  Light-weight and plentiful, these golden branches make the perfect dramatic statement.  For further inspiration on using these beads, refer to the photo on our homepage.  Strands are 16" long with approximately 64 beads.
